Counselling
I offer short-term support, and longer-term, in-depth exploration. Whatever feels right for you at the time, I will work alongside you at your pace. Sessions can be weekly or arranged flexibly to suit your needs.
I currently offer online and in-person sessions (which are delivered from a clinic in the centre of Tunbridge Wells). In the future I plan on offering nature-based therapy - if this is something you're keen on, feel free to let me know.
My approach is friendly, warm, and collaborative; whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or confused I’m here to help you raise awareness of your feelings and needs and create meaningful change in your world. I’m confident in my skills and experienced in supporting people through many different challenges.
Training
I am a tutor at Dunamis Therapy Hub which provides BACP accredited Level 4 counselling training. I provide research and essay teaching and support to the students.
Additionally, building on research work I've carried out over the past 15 years, I offer training to other organisations, including counselling organisations, on topics such as domestic abuse, self-harm and suicide, and suicide bereavement.
Student counsellor support
I offer one-to-one support with the academic side of counselling training, including essays, case studies, research projects, and exams. I read, review, and give feedback on written work
I’ve supported many counselling students, including those with additional learning needs and neurodiversity. My approach is warm, patient, and encouraging—I work alongside you to help you succeed academically without losing sight of your individuality and who you are as a practitioner.
